I am wondering if it is possible to shorten URLs, and I do not mean by going through some external URL. I mean simply having the php files "viewforum" and "viewtopic" cut down to "forum" and "topic," saving four characters. Or even just "f" and "t." It strikes me as achievable, perhaps if just the names of the php files were changed and all pointers to them were changed, but I wonder if anyone has done it or if there is an out-of-the-box solution for it.
